Gamersperience is a podcast talking about gaming, both digital and physical, as well as the culture that surrounds it. We're just two good friends talking about what we're passionate about, producing this on a threadbare shoestring budget. Although we start with a topic, we may not be able to stick to it for very long, and tend to trail off tangents.

We have just started a recurring series of game characters and their stories. While we have plenty, we want yours. If you want to share your custom game character (whether it's from a TTRPG, videogame, or other game), send us an e-mail at gamersperience@gmail.com. Include how you want to be referred to (including pronunciation guide if it's not obvious), your character's name, what game they're from, a few details, a story about them (please limit to about 5 speaking minutes), and a statement permitting us to use it in our podcast. It can be typed for us to read out loud, or an audio file (we need to get access to it, of course). Include "character stories" in the subject line.

The Hosts:

notmuch_23 has been playing games for as long as he can remember, started playing video games on the Nintendo Entertainment System (with Super Mario Brothers/Duck Hunt cart), prefers simulation and management video games like RollerCoaster Tycoon 1/2/3, Planet Coaster, Sim City 4, Cities: Skylines, Factorio, and Derail Valley; always enjoyed playing board/physical games, but only started playing tabletop RPGs recently; does most of the back-end work (recording, editing, promoting, etc...)

ChoasAssassin (there is a story behind the misspelling of "chaos" in episode 2) started playing Dungeons and Dragons (third edition) about twenty years ago, started playing video games on the Nintendo 64, prefers adventure and roleplaying video games, but is getting more into first person shooters and simulation games, also played collectible trading card games like Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokémon Trading Card Game, and Magic the Gathering (he still occasionally plays MtG); is a living pokédex (that needs an update), and tends to speak more during the episodes
